Objective of the event-To make female students aware about the different self-defence Strategies and how important self defence is for each and every female in today’s world.

On October 19 2020, the Department of Sports and NCC organized an online seminar for the students of IIS (Deemed to be university) Jaipur from 9:30 am – 10:30 am, conducted via Microsoft teams on the topic “Safe in the city” by the esteemed guest Mr.Shri Ram Choudhary and total 34 students participated in the session . He enlightened the session by conveying the importance of awareness among the female strata on self-defence. Further he also talked about all the situations under the roof that females face from eve teasing to sexual assault. With the help of an elaborated power point presentation he knowledged the girls on many awareness strategies, how to escape from an abuser or attacker, he also told the red flags that a girl should be aware of combined with some legal advice. He also stressed on trusting our parents and keeping them in the loop. The session ended with an interactive Q/A which enhanced the knowledge regarding the women safety.

Outcome of the event- The session was very knowledgeable and energetic, the way Mr. Shri Ram Choudhary enlightened the topic of women safety and self defence is appreciatable and indeed it was a wonderful session.
