Objective: To promote physical fitness, discipline, and cultural values through collective participation in the traditional practice of Surya Namaskar on the occasion of Surya Saptam.

IIS (Deemed to be University), Jaipur actively participated in the 108 Samuhik Surya Namaskar Program held at Central Sanskrit University, Triveni Nagar, Jaipur, on the occasion of Surya Saptami. The event was organized by Krida Bharti (RSS) and witnessed a large gathering of yoga practitioners and fitness enthusiasts.

The program was inaugurated by the Honorable Governor of Rajasthan, Shri Haribahu Bagade, who emphasized the cultural and health significance of Surya Namaskar.

Representing IIS University, 35 dedicated yoga enthusiasts participated with great enthusiasm and successfully completed 108 rounds of Surya Namaskar within 21 minutes. The event reflected both physical discipline and a deep connection to Indian yogic traditions.

Outcome: The event encouraged students and staff to adopt yoga as a daily practice, promoting health, unity, and cultural pride through collective participation.
