Objective: To spread awareness among university girls about their sexual health problems.

On March 18, 2024 the Department of Physical Education of IISU organized a guest lecture on Sexual Education & Health in collaboration with Eternal Hospital (EHCC), Jaipur. The lecture was delivered by Dr.Satyamvada Pandey , who is the Senior Consultant Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of EHCC. She has spoken about the regular health problems faced by the adolescent girls nowadays such as PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). The aim of the guest lecture was to help improve the lives of those affected by PCOS\PCOD and to help them to overcome their symptoms as well as prevent and reduce their risks for life-threatening related diseases such as Diabetes, Cardiovascular disease and Endometrial Cancer.

At the end, Dr Satyamvada patiently answered the questions raised by the students of IIS University related to their menstrual health problems and Rishika Pareek of BA (PC) presented a vote of thanks to the guest, faculty members and all the students.

Outcome:                       

The whole event was helpful to our university ladies staff and girl students in developing the habit of eating nutritious food stuff to avoid PCOS.
