PARA SPORTS MEET

The IIS University celebrated the birth anniversary of Dhyan Chand on 29th August, 2017. Honorable Vice Chancellor Dr. Ashok Gupta inaugurated the ceremony. The National Sports Day was celebrated with special children so the day was known as "Para Sports Meet" from 9.30 to 12.00 pm.

Seven special schools of Jaipur participated in the Para sports meet with great enthusiasm. There were various games such as Exhibition Hockey Match, Softball Throw for wheelchair athletes, lemon & spoon race, balloon race, pyramid race, etc. were organized by The University Sports Board

Refreshments and medals were given to each and every participant by Prof. K.S. Sharma, University Advisor, Prof. Raakhi Gupta, Registrar and Prof. Bhatnagar, Dean to cheer and motivate them to participate more in such events. The managers/coaches and care-takers were presented mementos. The programme ended by a dance performance by the Umang School students.
