Objective: Knowledge about CPR and introduced students with the pneumonic of CPR DR’s CAB ( danger responses   save circulation airway breathing).

                    

On the occasion of World Heart Day, IIS (deemed to be university), Jaipur was organized an insightful session collaborated with Eternal hospital( EHCC), Jaipur, in order to spread awareness among students about cardiovascular diseases and its stroke prevention.  Event started with the felicitation of guest speaker by secretary sports board Dr.Renu Shungloo. Thereafter participants were espoused by Dr.Vijya Gupta (senior medical officer) and by Dr. Roopam Sharma (associate consultant). They acquainted students with needs and importance to learn CPR and ways to perform this technique effectively. He introduced students with the pneumonic of CPR DR’s CAB ( danger responses   save circulation airway breathing) and also explained DOs  and DON’Ts of CPR.  Along with that he reflected his profound knowledge on the topic and highlighted the procedure and conditions of performing CPR.

Dr. Vijay Gupta gave exalting demonstration of the various techniques of CPR, and also gave opportunity to volunteers from sports department, NCC, NSS and others to learn and demonstrate the same and students took active participation and gained practical knowledge.  Event was managed by university sports board, under the guidance of Dr. Renu shugloo, Dr. Neelam sharma and Ms. Janki pareek . Student volunteers gave remarkable contribution, they took over various responsibilities such as batch making by Suchi, Yashasvi, Anushka , comparing by Snehal and Deeksha, management by Harshita and Harshdeep.

This interactive session culminated with the vote of thanks by Dr.Renu Shungloo.
